If you've never toured wine tasting, you may want to consider taking the next time you are looking for something to do. Many wineries that offer tours to the free tasting and even when they charge, there is usually a nominal fee. Some tours Tasting Wine tours are and others are self guided. You can usually learn about the history of the cave and how the wines are made and depending on the size of the cellar, waiting to taste several wines.
Some wineries offer more than just wine tasting. At some schools wine, you'll be able to see each step of the winemaking process. Some wineries also have cafes and gift shops. Some of the vineyards you will visit the vineyards and production facilities. Imagine a car ride with your date through acres of vineyards by tasting a wine harvested from the same grape.
To date a little expensive, but romantic, idea is to make a tour of tasting wines, selected a bottle of your favorite wine after the tour and then cook dinner together or if it's a beautiful day with a little cheese and crackers and go to a picnic.
