new york city bus tours
I need help for a trip to Washington DC or New York.?
I am visiting family in Crownsville, MD, and try to find a tour bus from Maryland to Washington DC and is the main attractions of New York. Most people have said not to drive and take a bus or subway bus / subway. We have three children (ages 7-13) with us. Any advice would be helpful.
There is an easy way to get to DC. close Crownsville of Pretty City Odenton, Maryland, which has a commuter train station. The MARC (Maryland Rail) line Penn go to Washington Union Station in approximately half an hour. Your family can drive you to and from Crownsville Odenton. I think there is also free parking available, but am not sure about – Your parents should know. At Union Station there is a range of tourist buses, including Tourmobile, DC Ducks, Old Town Trolley Tours and Gray Line Bus Tour. There also a good food court. The Tourmobile made a big loop around the National Mall, which allows you to get on and off as you wish. It revolves around most museums Smithsonian, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol. There is a guided walk as he goes through the line of sight. DC Ducks is a unique way to give an overview of the city, which is usually a big hit with children. It starts as a wheeled vehicle, go through the National Mall, then turns into a boat to enter in the Potomac River for water-view of the city. Old Town Trolley Tours operates buses that look like trams. Their trips highlight parts of the city other than the National Mall. Be aware that the MARC trains will operate from Monday to Friday. If you're planning to travel on a weekend, you'll have to go to the train station to the airport BWI and get an Amtrak train. Otherwise, everything is the same.
