What are the best things to do / see in Holland and Belgium?

I'm going to Amsterdam in Holland, with a band on tour and will be around area (mainly from Amsterdam) and spend a day or two in Belgium. However, I have some free time and would like to explore some of the local places and things interesting. Here are some places you already plan to visit: "Red Light District, Van Gogh Museum (not a local access point sure but …)- World 's narrowest house (I like oddities)-Vondelpark'm interested in places for hiking and / or camping, special districts, places to see wildlife restaurants (not expensive) hostels favorite thrift stores or regular stores with wild or unique items, parties, band performances of others, local music venues (bars, performance spaces / etc).
