Great Ocean Road

$15.98

Although they likely stand to benefit very little from the fact that primary members Garth Adam and Dave Kelly also happen to form the rhythm section for Russell Crowe’s 30 Odd Foot of Grunts, Ether (named for a particularly picturesque highway in their native Australia) sound impressively surefooted in the realm of slightly rootsy, slightly exotic modern rock. Comprised largely of acoustic instruments, the album has a somewhat earthy feel, although the atmospheric production counteracts those tendencies and never really allows them to step forward with a personality of their own. And even as the hooks and the playing are solid throughout, many of the songs lack distinction and fail to make any lyrical statements that are likely to make much of an impression on the listener. Their collection of mandolins, 12-string acoustic guitars, and nice harmonies insure that the set doesn’t fall short in the area of musical competency, but it’s just hard to find many tracks that are terribly memorable. At their best when simply stripping away all the commonplace elements of their music and allowing just a resonator guitar and a harmonium to carry the arrangement, tracks like “Between Kempsey and Byron Bay” ultimately prove that for Ether, less is more. ~ Matt Fink, Rovi Performers: Paul Hardman – String Keyboard, Harmonium; Craig Grech – Vocals (Background), Bass; Doug Sandrini – Guitar (Resonator), Melodeon, Lap Steel Guitar, Vocals (Background), Mandolin, Guitar (12 String), Guitar (Electric), Guitar, Guitar (Classical); Garth Adam – Guitar (Resonator), Vocals, Guitar (Electric), Drums, Percussion, Guitar, Bass

Which tour company should I use for a visit to Simi-submersible reef in Cairns, Australia?

We will visit Cairns, Australia for a day and you want to do a Simi-submersible tour of the Great Barrier Reef. I identified several tour companies that will leave the Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns. The companies that I found are: — Big Cat Green Island Reef Cruises Reef Magic Cruises — — Sunlover Reef Cruises Great Adventures — Outer Reef & Island Cruises Quicksilver Cruises — I like a visit to the Reef Fleet Terminal departure because he will walk from our hotel. In addition, Green will visit Island same or as good as those who go to other places like Agincourt Reef? We are not interested in diving or snorkeling, just see the reef and perhaps a time range if the weather is nice (30/01/2009). Tips?

If you are not really interested in diving which is what actually happens on most visits to the reefs that I would recommend the Green Island Tour Big Cat Green Island Reef Cruises Reef Cruises. The outside are mostly people who want to immerse ling diving. My or opinion is that the outer reef is generally better than reef. But the island if you do not want to dive and you want to do a range of cruises in the islands.
