travel to Rome, Venice, Florence in October into account the cost group of U.S. tourists against travel planning yourself?

We are planning a trip to Italy in October in Rome, Venice, Pisa, Florence. I am trying to compare the cost of going with the usual groups, AAA, etc. compared to planning the same trip, tourism, book? cottages, villas, etc.? Thanks

I travel a lot and I find myself doing works much cheaper, I prefer it – I'll explain why: I suggest to first check the prices over yourself (plane ticket to Italy, apartments or hotels, villas – and hire if you want) and then compare what is a pre-arranged tour will cost. You save more money is based in one place for a couple of days instead of moving often. But these are only suggestions, go with what you feel most convenient. Enjoy!
