What is the temperature in Los Angeles / Anaheim for April?

We are planning a trip to Los Angeles / Anaheim in April and I wonder if he will be cold during this time of year? And what is the temperature of the water? I'm not going to swim just stick my feet in. We will go to Disneyland and Tower of Santa Monica, Hollywood area. When is the rainy season it? Someone told me there are times of year when it rains much? If the April cold, then what about May? We would like to go when it is sunny and cool … we are in Arizona and it begins to be Hot in March if we do not want to be explored in the heat.

Los Angeles weather is so unpredictable. Rain usually falls in February and early April. When it rains it's usually for platform 1 or 2 days. But as I said is so unpredictable. At the beginning may be can be pretty dark and cool but warms to the end of May It is never too cold then. Cal.

Lake Powell: Best town for overnight stop and tour?

I want to visit Lake Powell, which is part of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. I’ll be coming up from Grand Canyon National Park. I’ll just stay a night and part of the day in the Lake Powell area before moving on to Salt Lake City. So where is a good place to stay around Lake Powell where you can get the breath-taking views and a tour?

I’m one of those GCN hikers that dreams of the day when Glen Canyon Dam crumbles and both the River and Glen Canyon are returned to what they once were.
I could give a spectacular route that would take you thru-monument valley , up the legendary Moquoi Dugway then take the ferry across the river at Halls crossing or the bridge at Hite crossing , find lodging for the nite -at a place like ticaboo lodge
next day up to hanksville thru capitol reef np and then work your way over to I-15 & SLC
But you want the lake so I can’t help you.
