Anyone can tell me what is the best month to visit India in New Delhi?
I am planning a vacation to visit the Taj Mahal and may seem too hot. Anyone can tell me when is the most comfortable months to visit the Taj Mahal? Knowing that the best package is the "Golden Triangle Tour of India. There we can share with me what are the attractive places in the Golden Triangle?
Best time: not until October Golden Triangle: Delhi> Agra> Jaipur> Delhi You will certainly enjoy the trip to India. I guess it's your first time. I also visited India the first time as a tourist and my trip was the Golden Triangle too. It is now I live in India. Well in Agra, there is not much except to see the Taj Mahal. My advice is to see the masterpiece twice – once in the day and evening. You will notice the difference, as at night they turn the lights around the Taj and it looks beautiful. Jaipur is a wonderful place with beautiful scenery. You will see the Fort, where you can ride the elephant! If you ride one, so my advice is to stay close to its tail, not the head, because … whenever elephants meet, they can divide to you with their trunks (what happened to my friend). Delhi is the capital, many things to see. Many temples, especially that you will like Lotus Temple – it seems great! Anyway, I hope you have a good time and enjoy! Good luck!

Triangle $10.14 Three maestro Chinese action directors – Ringo Lam, Tsui Hark and Johnny To – co-helm the adventure saga Triangle. The film actually constitutes a film serial, divided into thirds, with each filmmaker responsible for one episode. Three drinking buddies, Fai, Sam and Mok are visited one dark and stormy night by a strange old man who dazzles them with the tale of an ancient treasure. The artifact in question – worth untold amounts of money – lies buried beneath an almost impenetrable government facility. The retrieval mission is theirs, if they wish to accept it, and if they can claim the treasure, they get to keep it. Indeed, the “loot” – a magnificent robe of interwoven golden strands, its monetary value inestimable – outstrips everyone’s expectations. But in time, the friends’ greed and selfishness begin to overshadow their considerations of loyalty, trust and friendship. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi |

Mumbai $16.96 Formerly known as Bombay, Mumbai is one of the largest cities in the world with a population of around 17 million and was constructed on a headland that extends for 22 kilometres into the Arabian Sea.In 1853 Bombay had its first railroad and the Indian rail network was soon extended. The Victoria Terminus was built and is one of the most impressive train stations in the world. The lavishly decorated brown sandstone building dates back to1888 and is the most beautiful Victorian Gothic building in India, built during the high season of British colonial rule. The Dhobi Ghats or Banks Of The Washers is the name of the ‘Biggest laundrette in the world’.In the open air hundreds of dhobis do much of the city’s ‘laundry’.In small allotments surrounded by low walls, launderers wash from dusk to dawn.On Malabar Hill between the villas of numerous film stars and luxury apartments is the fascinating Adishwarji Jain Temple, a good place in which to gain an insight into the harsh rituals of the wealthy faithful who worshipped the first Jain saints. The legendary Hotel Taj Mahal Palace with its striking faĆade and red cupolas had a spectacular origin. When industrial mogul, Tata, was refused entry to a British hotel restaurant by a sign that stated, FOR EUROPEANS ONLY, he decided to build the city’s finest hotel.Nowhere else are India’s many remarkable contrasts so obvious and nowhere else can India be experienced so intensely as in Mumbai, mega metropolis and unique Gateway To India! |
