There is no better place on earth to visit, but I'm not sure what you could do with $ 2 kA month. I guess I would like to live in Jerusalem. People are Tel Aviv recommending … I personally do not agree with that, but it depends what you after. Tel Aviv is a great city from a secular viewpoint, but they sent will inspire there. Israel is very expensive, but you could probably rent a room for a short time and still have money to play with. No matter what just choose from, there you go. You will not regret. Nesia Tova!
