Cycling in Cornwall?

Hello, planning a trip through the cycle of Cornwall this summer. I have some large maps, and a web site very informative: http://www.cycle-n-sleep.co.uk/ that give some information on cycling in the area. Now, my question is: Will it be nice to visit Cornwall, or is simply too mountainous to enjoy unless one is training for the Tour de France? We travel to work by bike every day, and are more suitable, in general, but I love to hear from people who have completed a course in Cornwall and how is the route they did and so are looking for in a week, and I have sufficient time for an afternoon "off". Would it be bettter to rent a car, and make small trips instead? Any help would be greatly appreciated! My current trip is a half hour, and includes all of a few hills and ups and downs. So not all Cornwall, but not totally unfamilira to the idea of the constant rise …

Depends. It is quite hilly and OTS of alleys. If you are on the way (ie, camping cycle) could stop at each camp for two nights. every / this would allow to "travel light," the other day, but still allow you to travel. Try to leave some weekends decent bike to see how it goes. and keep their daily mileage to a reasonable level, after all, is a holiday. You find the first 3 or 4 days very difficult, but it gets easier. A thing, get some decent waterproof clothing.and beware the winds from the southwest.
