There is nothing in life that does not come with a downside as well as their good side. New technologies are particularly likely to be alternatively recognized for their benefits potential and lamented their shortcomings. Video games are no exception, and since its introduction, there has been much debate and controversy over its use, especially the effects can have on children.

There are many benefits of allowing children to experience everything the game has to offer. They are a great introduction computers, fun and easy to start using. Having some first encounters with the technology will make a child more confident and capable when they come to use computers for school work. They will become familiar with the use of technology, without being obliged to do by teachers, or even feeling that they are learning at all.

However, an adverse effect on academic work has also been observed. Often the child will spend much more time playing a game they should. This can result in abandoned school work and poor results of the work.

Many video games offer opportunities to develop logic and lateral thinking. The child is forced to solve puzzles and deal with a changing history, stunning. They must work out how to get through each task, there is no way to skip past the problem and goes to the next stage. There are plenty of games that are fast-paced, visually oriented as well. They require quick reactions and attention to detail. As the child plays, they are developing their motor skills and spatial awareness.

On the other hand, many violent video games on the market, and these are usually very attractive to young players. Despite a number of claims that playing violent games can promote aggression in a child, and likewise, players who spend long periods of time immersed in their virtual world, we lose sight of where fantasy and reality are divided.

Players spend long periods of time alone absorbed in his game, is what many cite as a significant risk of video games. This is a real concern if the child is spending many hours alone, and avoiding spending time with others – particularly with friends his own age. Childhood is a time important for the development of social skills. Many of the games available today allow for a more social aspect to the experience, however, encourage family and friends to play together. Parents can find to spend more time with their children if they have a favorite video game on which to focus, instead of trying to induce to play a old board game. It is often an attraction to the screen to see what has captured the imagination of your child brings one of the parents in the world of video games and the opportunities to spend quality time together they present.

There are clearly two sides to this argument, perhaps with as many people who claim significant benefits to the use of games video, as there is to protest against the damage caused to young children. There is even scientific evidence for the therapeutic power of video games though of course this depends on the game and how addictive the patient is.

The most sensible way for parents to take is to establish certain rules for a their children when it comes to the use of video games, rather than opting for a total ban or allow children to play games they want, whenever they want. It is important to a limit on the time the child is allowed to play every day. One hour is the right moment, providing an opportunity to enjoy the game and the progress made by levels while allowing the child to have time for other activities or missing out on sleep important.

Many parents feel it is important to ensure that all duties and chores are done before the game can be turned on. This acts as an incentive to finish the work and means that the child is not trying to solve mathematical problems or writing an essay when they are tired of the games.

If in doubt about the types of games that a child might be playing, that can be solved by accompanying them when they go to buy or rent a game, and having a discussion about the appropriateness of what the child wants. Parents can help to make an appropriate choice of age. If a child begins to spend too much time alone, parents can help by participating in the game, so there is less social activity involved in reproduction. It's how video games are to be used either good or bad for a child, not the mere fact of its existence.

Have your child visit us for the tips and tricks they need to further advance in their favorite game! We provide xBox360 game tips, PS3 game tips, Nintendo Wii tips and more. Sit down and enjoy their excitement as they unlock new gaming features and learn new skills.

Booker T. Washington had only managed to obtain a primary education that has allowed its admission course at Hampton Institute after his emancipation from slavery 1865 Proclamation by Abraham Lincoln, the existence of an exemplary student, teacher and speaker that the principal and founder Samuel C. Hampton Armstrong advised him Alabamans trying to create a school for African-Americans in their state to lead them in their efforts.

But Washington has preferred become a teacher are woven first in his hometown Tinkersville West Virginia. He served there three years forums. In 1878, he left to attend Wayland seminar in Washington DC, but has remained ona are only six months. In 1879, Armstrong asked him to return to Hampton Institute as a teacher. Washington did.

In 1881, upon recommendation thea Hampton University founder Samuel C. Armstrong and Board of Tuskegee, although these positions have always been occupied by whites, until then, he has been hired as the first principal of a school the same order based in Alabama. normal school new college teachers in Alabama called Tuskegee Institute. ITA was founded under a charter of the Alabama Legislature for the purpose of training teachers in Alabama.

They found a strong leader and visionary, they sought Washington. Washington became the first director of the Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute. July 4, 1881, On the first day of school at Tuskegee Institute, was a humble beginning, the new school was initially using space rented from a local church with two small buildings, no equipment, and very little money. The following year, Washington purchased a former plantation, which became the permanent seat of campus. He has built a center of learning and training industry and agriculture. in Tuskegee, Alabama. Tuskegee program has provided training for students academic and professional. Students, under the direction of Washington, have built their own buildings, produced their own food, and provided for most of their basic necessities. The faculty of Tuskegee used each of these activities to teach students the basic skills they could share with African American communities in the South.

Although Tuskegee has provided training and academic education for teachers, it puts more emphasis on providing young black boys with practical skills such as carpentry and Washington masonry.Under care both at school and Washington, has grown to become famous, make a profound and lasting contribution to the South and the United States.

A key Booker Washingron problems was finding enough money to keep the institution running. The support he received State was neither generous nor stable enough to build the kind of school he wanted. So he had to find the money himself by going on lecture tours and solicit donations. As head and founder of Thea Institute, he traveled the country tirelessly to raise funds among blacks and whites alike. Soon he became a well-known speaker. He received a lot of money northerners from White. Because they been impressed by the work he did, and his non-threatening views. He racial and industrial Lured as Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller, who would donate money on a regular basis.

Booker Washington spent the rest of his life, improving the school to that when he died in 1915, the Tuskegee Institute boasted 100 buildings, 1,500 students, a variety of programs and $ 2 million. Until then, Tuskegee endowment grew to more than 1.5 million, compared to the initial $ 2,000 annual appropriation.

The Institute illustrates Washington's aspirations for his race. For during his life, many African-Americans who were former slaves who lacked education were provided the opportunity to learn skills and get an education. He believed that former slaves would be accepted by education and financial independence. His theory was that by providing these skills, African-Americans play their role in the company wins and the acceptance by white Americans. He thought they would eventually gain full civil rights by showing themselves to be responsible reliable American citizens.

In 1895, Washington has asked to speak at the opening of the Cotton States Exposition, an unprecedented honor for an African-American. His Atlanta Compromise speech explained his major thesis, that blacks were asserting their constitutional rights through their own progress economic and moral rather than legal and political changes. Although his conciliatory stance angered some blacks who feared it would encourage the enemies of equality rights, whites approved of his views. Thus, his greatest achievement was convincing the various elements among southern whites, without whose support program he devised and be would have been impossible.

Although not everyone agrees with Booker, he became a leader respected helped many schools and institutions gain donations and support from government and donors. In this leadership position, he rose in the lead Plan nationally as a spokesperson for African Americans.

These he views non-threatening race that gave Washington the appellation "The Accommodates Large". He believed that blacks should not push to attain equal civil and political rights with whites. It was better to focus on improving their economic skills and the quality of their character. The burden of improving resting on the shoulders of the black man. Finally, they would earn the respect and love for the white man, and civil and political rights should be recognized as a matter of course. It was an idea not very threatening and very popular with many whites.

Born and schooled in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Arthur Smith has taught English for over thirty years now at various Educational Institutions. He is now a Senior Lecturer of English at Fourah Bay College where he has been lecturing for the past eight years.
