purchase of Phuket to Bangkok and visits help?

Hello is it cheaper to buy things like DVDs and watch DVDs and clothing markets in Phuket or Bangkok, 100 BHT for 1 DVD everywhere and they usually move to Bangkok (i think 5 AUD is too expensive for a copy DVD) and the clothes are 200bht (is quite ok) However, for 500bht in AUD, you can get the same quality exellent. Were just curious because we do not know whether to buy stuff here or in Phuket we leave here next Tuesday, and can anyone recommend cheap place to book tours Phuket, so far, we have rock spider monkey climbing towers 600bht fairly cheap head all day trip around the island Phi Phi, Thanks guys.

The price of compromise will knock similar, if not more expensive in Phuket and you will not have near the selection you will find Bangkok. Hello, need help planning a two week trip in Thailand.?

I've done some research and think it is a popular route Bangkok – 3 days Ching Rai – 2 days, Ching Mai – 3 days, Phuket – 5 days. Question # 1 – I think five days is too much in Phuket … There is another destination that could visit that is a must. Could it be the Phi Phi Island a good addition to the route? Question # 2 – We have investigated several tour companies and have been quoted very high prices ….. about U.S. $ 4,000 per person. My wife and I like luxury hotels, but the U.S. $ 8,000 for travel and accommodation seem steep … I was supposed to Thailand was quite cheap? Is it necessary to book a tour company or is it fairly easy to arrange visits to local level? Any suggestions would be appreciated company. Question # 3 We are thinking of going from May to June and heard it can be very hot! Is not this a good time to visit Thailand? Thanks for any suggestions or advice.

I'll be in transit for 8 hours in Bangkok. I will arrive in 15 hours and my flight is connectin 1100. Is it something I can do at 8:00. I hv enough time to enter the city for a quick trip? not the airport authorities organize visits fast? Thank you.
