Some of the selections are very close to each other, for example, V & A Museum of Science and Natural History, but are so great that really could not do full justice in one day. Many people make the mistake of trying to "do all the museums of South Kensington" in one day! I would suggest make one or possibly two in one day with a good lunch in the middle. The V & A is less crowded than can be accessed at any time. Science and Natural History are much better in a day as soon as it opens at 10am. The natural history is always long queues at the entrance to Cromwell Road, I go through the entrance in Exhibition Road where there are no queues. Also, the British Museum, London Zoo and the National Portrait Gallery is the most visited as soon as you open on weekdays. Some of the places to be visited are owned / managed by the same company / institution. For example Historic Royal Palaces Hampton Court management and the Tower of London.
