State New York, despite the home to one of the most visited cities worldwide, is also a popular destination for guests who appreciate American with a natural element. Here are some suggestions and things to remember if you are planning a trip to the Empire State.
Finger Lakes are located in the center-west state. They owe their name to their long and narrow with the longest, Cayuga and Seneca, which extends about 40 miles length. The region is also well known for producing wine that bears similarities to the Rhine in Germany. Today there are hundreds of institutions wineries in the region, with many opening their doors to the public for the 70s. The Museum of the Earth is also in Ithaca.
The famous Niagara Falls is located on the border of New York State and Ontario in Canada, west of the Finger Lakes. The big falls were formed following the ice age 10,000 years ago and now consists of two large waterfalls called American and Horseshoe, where water flowing the extreme south of Lake Erie flows north to Lake Ontario. The falls are spectacular both day and night attraction with guided walks available and accessible.
In north-eastern State, Adirondack Park is the most important historical landmark in the country and covers more than six million acres. Canoe camping is very popular in the region because of the abundance of more than 3,000 lakes and 30,000 miles of rivers and of the wilderness between. The area is also popular with walkers – many traveling from New York and Vermont.
For those considering travel to the United States this summer, travelers flying to the country are being reminded that the need now to apply for ESTA. The ESTA (Electronic Or System for Travel Authorization) is now required for anyone wishing to stay in the country less than three months and must be completed online at least 72 hours before departure

If you travel to Cote d'Azur in France, St-Tropez is a must-stop on your visit. Even if you only have an hour, you do not want to miss the beach destination for the rich and famous.
History of St-Tropez
In the early days of Saint-Tropez is a fishing village. The village was established in the year 68. At the time, Emperor Nero killed a Roman named Tropes, because he said Christian religion in public. He sent his body out of the ocean, without a head. The boat washed ashore at the small fishing village and St-Tropez became a place of pilgrimage.
The Rich and Famous
Centuries later, the famous painter Paul Signac came to live in St-Tropez. Many friends of his generation and he visits the city became home of Impressionist painters and artists. But City finally got its chic status and plugged in 1956, when Brigitte Bardot has decided to move to St-Tropez, after making a film there. Today, many celebrities have villas in and around the city and the super-rich live in their palaces floating in the bay.
Charming and Fashionable
St-Tropez may be very charming home with light-colored, small winding streets and squares where the typical old French play petanque. Of course you can shop till you drop in the endless shopping and dining in restaurants, chic chic. Probably the best and for sure the cheapest attraction is watching people every port side cafà ©.
When to visit
In summer, traffic is terrible, but it is certainly the best time to enjoy the best sandy beaches of the Cote d'Azur and join the posh sun-tanned people. Between October and May St Tropez is less crowded and you can enjoy the city relax on the beach with a good bottle of wine.
