Kefalonia Ionian is one of the famous islands of Greece not only because of its lush greenery and beautiful beaches, but as it was also the magnificent backdrop of the Hollywood film Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

The film was shot in places of this beautiful Greek island with famous Hollywood actors like Penelope Cruz, Nicholas Cage and Irene Papas mention a few. The plot revolves around two main characters: officer of the Italian army, Captain Antonio Corelli made by Nicolas Cage and the beautiful daughter of a local doctor, played by Penelope Cruz.

It is essentially a war movie and show clips of the Second World War, when Italy allies with Germany Nazi occupying force in Greece. An Italian officer of some is then sent for administrative purposes to the Greek island and it gradually becomes attracted by the local doctor's daughter, Pelagia, who is engaged to a Greek rebellion.

Later ON, the plot thickens when Italy lost war. In the midst of a German invasion in the meantime, the story shows the emotions the characters feel at the other and in their country, the sacrifices they wear and their dedication to the cause of eternal humanity.

Kefalonia has, since the film was shot, make themselves known worldwide and more people are discovering it. This movie had actually created a drastic effect on the tourism industry of this beautiful Greek island.

If you travel around it, you'll certainly recognize the scenery shown in the film, like the beach Antisamos Sami village and Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. The scenes where the Italian army marched into Argostoli were shot in the courtyard of a hotel in Kefalonia, However, many other scenes were filmed throughout Kefalonia and depict its beauty: nature pure, traditional villages, the picturesque beaches, sunny climate and friendly people. Kefalonia is indeed the ideal landscape for the creation of this film.

In reality, it is much more than just the Piano Man! Then I want no disrespect to Billy Joel when I say it is not man piano, because it is certainly original. I just wanted to draw attention to several aspects and talents of Billy Joel, in addition to being simply known as The Piano Man. Of course, this is due to the enormous talents of Billy Joel piano and his signature song "Piano Man" on why he became a man piano. With a musical career spans five decades, Billy Joel has made some great musicians and pianists in history.

Billy Joel has enjoyed a semi-retired since 1993 but to date he continues to travel and perform in front of sold-filled with fans of all ages. Finding a great drum teacher / tutor or mentor is the most important step in learning to play drums. They will help you learn the basics of the instrument and you leads from beginner all the way to an advanced player. There are literally thousands of teachers out there that can help you find, but a great drum teacher requires some work. Here are some tips to help find the best teacher aa possible:

Local Search: Start by reviewing your local listings. His first teacher should be close to you for lessons are convenient and easy to install on your current schedule. However, do not just go with the first number it finds. Make sure telephone and ask for references. You'll probably find the kind of increased activity is the best so that's a good indicator to look for.

Qualifications: Most parents seek teachers with X, Y and Z skills but in my experience this is one of the worst mistakes you can make. The world's best players are not "qualified" in the ordinary sense, or are the best teachers. Find someone who can really play drums, practicing what they preach and have a good record. Experience in tour, the study and as a teacher than anything else. Qualifications are often bad leader!

Magazines: Read reviews and learn drum much progress on drums. Many of them are too busy to teach, but there are some that offer private lessons and / or online lessons. If you can travel then spending even a short period of time with a high caliber player can do wonders for your drum playing. Ask if they offer lessons through Skype and can learn from the best in the comfort of your home.

Big name schools: schools with big names such as Berklee College of Music, Guildhall and Los Angeles Music Academy to explore the biggest and brightest talent to teach their students and give them the best education possible. If your budget allows and you want to study full-time then this is probably one of the best moves you can make. Find a school that employs teachers who would like to work and has a environment that suits your needs and learning style.

Seminars: When I started to travel a lot not being able to study with a regular teacher, so I started to attend clinics where possible. This is a great way to get a closer look at art and music of their favorite players and ask lots of questions that would otherwise be impossible to do. Check the drum magazines to learn about upcoming events in your area and attend at least one seminar a year.

While I definitely recommend finding a great teacher still needs to take control of their own reproduction. You must learn to learn itself and the study or practice as much as possible. Get what you can from his teacher, but also try to "self-learning" where possible. If want to be a great player then you must be a great student and put in a mountain of practice time.
