Are there tours that leave from Washington DC Dulles Airport?
What are our options for four hours between flights?
Well you mentioned that you have four hours to kill all my considerations into account. Even if the airport is known as Washington Airport Dulles (It is actually located in Virginia), you would have one hour to go to DC and an hour to go … then it would kill two hours to get to DC and back. So I will try to locate and my recommendations even more by giving you some pretty snazzy options. Which will involve taxis. The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum Annex is right next to Dulles Airport. Check out the space shuttles, missiles, warplanes, etc. and it is a 5 minutes taxi ride. ($ Taxi 5-10). Beautiful displays of the history of flight, space etc. with a few old planes on the screen and as modern aircraft. A treat for adults and children. Dulles Town Center mall is about 10-15 minutes. It is a standard mall with all the usual stuff, nothing to impressive see here. You may find airport shuttle that goes there. Not sure. Reston Town Center is 10-15 minutes and is again an area mall Nice with a few shops and some decent restaurants. It is also very close to the airport Reston Zoo. It is about a taxi ride of 15 minutes. There a car that takes you around the safari zone where you can see zebras, antelope, bison, ostriches, and much more. If you have children, they'll love this company and may even some animals. Leesburg Factory Outlets: If you are Miss'us then maybe it would be a bad idea! All so it has a few outlet stores and you could get there in about 20-30 minutes from the airport. Tysons Corner: Seriously … if you have the miss'us then it's a suicide. Premium shopping center space in Northern VA and located on the Dulles Toll Road. 20-30 minutes at the airport by taxi. I would recommend not a trip to DC unless you like 6 hours long. This way, you could budget of at least 2 hours to and from DC traffic on the road cause may be killing some 66 days. There is always the Washington Flyer that can bring you in DC and also an airport shuttle bus that takes you to underground West Falls (25-30 minutes) station for $ 10 per person, but you may want to pay a little extra (maybe 2 or $ 3 more) for the return ticket and ask the driver what time he left for you to do so in time for your plane. The metro is very efficient and will take you to DC in about 15-20 minutes from West Falls Church. There is a subway stop Smithsonian where you can go and just look around what a whole are a few sites and museums to see. Enjoy and have fun.

Pearl Harbor (Two-Disc 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition) $5.55 To call Pearl Harbor a throwback to old-time war movies is something of an understatement. Director Michael Bay’s epic take on the bombing that brought the United States into World War II hijacks every war movie situation and cliché (some affectionate, some stale) you’ve ever seen and gives them a shiny, glossy spin until the whole movie practically gleams. Planes glisten, water sparkles, trees b… |

tours white house washington dc

Saw this during a tour of the DC bus. What kind of protest was this close to the White House on Thursday, August 27, 2009?
I was in Washington DC, Thursday, August 27, 2009 honeymoon trip in a bus group. We saw this group protesting and chanting just beyond the fence in front of the White House, but I never essentially the same. Can anyone tell me anything about what was happening? http://i618.photobucket.com/albums/tt262/monumental_memories/Washington 20DC/DSC06374.jpg%
The green flag is red and white flag of Iran. I guess the blue and white flag represents the opposition party and were protesting the theft of Iranian elections.
