What follows is my list of the top seven natural wonders of the U.S. Although I have not yet visited all – what are the seven that I visit.

Number One:

Niagara Falls. Three large waterfalls falling 61 meters with large amounts of water pouring over. A must see. The power water, noise, fog, the boat trip, romance.

Number Two:

The Grand Canyon. If you think it took millions years or if you think its an obvious result of a great flood, it became irrelevant when you see the scale. The facts and figures and photos seem impressive. I'm sure the words in the flesh, he does not do justice.

Number three:

Yosemite National Park. The view of El Capitan worlds largest piece of exposed granite would only visit. The rivers, streams and animals only add beauty.

Number four:

Redwood National Park. Having seen the beautiful Redwoods in Rotorua, New Zealand, which are just over 100 years, how to better see over a thousand. The size and beauty of these trees is only enhanced by having all in one place to create the environment cool perfect with plenty of fresh air. Living up to 2000 years and reach 105 meters in height is all impressive, but their width which truly inspiring.

Number Five:

Yellowstone National Park. I love Wonders Yellowstone geothermal and has more than 10,000 hot springs and geysers. Throw in the trees and bathe in hot pools and I'm in heaven. Bison saw their natural environment is also a reminder of the past of America. Watch a bear – from a very safe distance – is also a treat.

Number Six:

The countries of the Black Hills. OK, you got me here, Mount Rushmore is unnatural, but still worth a visit. The fact that Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Deadwood are all nearby give a foretaste of the Great Plains and the Wild West.

Number Seven:

Hawaii – Volcanoes, Wailua Falls, the beaches, steep cliffs, waterfalls and forests – all good reasons to visit.

Some complain that I not include Alaska in this list, but to be honest Alaska would make a list of all alone.

Those planning to study abroad in New Zealand, Australia or elsewhere in the Southwest Pacific will have no shortage of opportunities to take short breaks during their stay. During most of the programs of study abroad, while in Australia or New Zealand, you will be in a major metropolitan area as Sydney, Adelaide, Perth or Auckland. All these cities are located within a few hours of other attractions you wish to visit while studying abroad.

In Australia: Sydney

While in Sydney, you definitely want to visit the Blue Mountains. While Australia is generally, though, as all a clump of hot desert, there is great diversity of landscape, not far from Sydney. The Blue Mountains consist of a sandstone plateau rising to over 3300 meters on sea level. Designated as a World Heritage Site, the Blue Mountains are home to spectacular rock formations and a variety of flora and fauna that are contained within seven national parks.

Adelaide

The region around the first city in Australia to be founded by free settlers is very similar to California Napa Valley and the Bay Area. Travel Destinations Near day include visits to wineries, Mount Lofty with its breathtaking view of the Adelaide area, and the Parque de la Vida Cleland Wildlife, where you actually can pet a kangaroo or a koala.

Perth

If the Califorina Adelaide is the northern west coast Australian city is south of Florida and the Caribbean. You do not want to miss out on Rottnest Island, with its secluded white sand beaches and unique wildlife that exists nowhere else the planet. Another spectacular feature is Wave Rock, forty-five feet high granite cliff significantly as an ocean wave.

Melbourne

This picturesque town in the Australian state of Victoria has more amenities than we can list here, but among those who do not want to miss are:

A stand • Arturo: A 915-foot tall hill overlooking the port. Three mazes found here, plus excellent overviews and examples of indigenous fauna.
 • Boneo Maze and Wetlands Center: If the eco-tourism interests you, this 15-acre site might be for you. Besides more than a mile of footpaths through the forest and wetland areas, you will find a number of pleasant picnic spots.

New Zealand

If you are studying in New Zealand, you find an array of exciting travel opportunities and also new day. If you saw the recent movie trilogy The Lord of the Rings, is the area some of the spectacular alpine landscapes that are in this country. In addition, Auckland and Christchurch are home to many picturesque parks where you can look at life native plants as well as museums dedicated to various aspects of the history of this country and the indigenous Maori culture.

This does not seem too bad, I guess that's 800 pounds? Are – no meals included in hotel? I found the food there was not expensive, so this should not have too much problem. When I visited New York, I went on a trip my first full day so that I an idea of things to do for the rest of the stay. It is a great city, and I guarantee you will not see everything you want in the time available. I can not wait to go back there. Incidentally, my son was 18 when he first flew to New York alone.
