tours to italy from uk

Working in Italy??
I am a girl of 22 years in New Zealand with a UK passport that everything is moving to Italy in July with a friend after finishing out tours throughout Europe. I wonder what kind of work is available. We are learning Italian base at this time, and we doing a TEFL course before we left. It is an online course, so I wonder how useful it will be to help us get teaching jobs. In addition, nobody knows what they are like hosp jobs than English speakers? I have years of experience, so it's not a problem. We are probably going to be glued to Coast's largest cities for the rest of the summer, hoping to pick up a bar / restaurant work before diving into the teaching of English. Is it only I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a web site etc, where to start looking for work hosp.
Can anyone help me? Cheers! Kimberley
No, let me explain something to you. You have an EU passport, so they're eligible for any job in Italy. You can enter the country without even a stamp in the passport, but once you find work you need a letter from your employer (or a copy of your contract) to bring the Police Headquarters (or the immigration office, depending on the city) and give you a renewable one-year work permit. Trust me, I did all this in January 2005. There is a lot of jobs available to people who do not speak Italian, in addition of teaching English and working in bars. My friends and I were all well educated (all had a bachelor's degree, some had a title Master) and have had little success applying for professional jobs. Even if the work is done in English, Italians prefer to hire an Italian who speaks about shit British or American English (with EU passport), who speaks perfect English. By the way, you do not mention education. There is almost no chance of getting a job without a degree. The students want from their teachers to have some sort of college degree, but is not related to English. I know of no school would hire a minor degree, "though I know that many schools do not require a TEFL certificate. The best website jobs TEFL is below. posts Hospitality work are usually in the field. Start looking cute and in her best Italian, and keep your fingers crossed. full-time education (about twenty-two hours per week) should NEVER pay for under 1000 euros net. I do not know the rate for bar work.
